UPDATE: March 28, 2013- Loyalist Scouts with help from Capital Movers & Storage Kingston and Ken Kelly's Towing raised $2322 and 3550 lbs of food for us. Thank you to everyone!!!
It’s that time of the year again! Scouts Canada with help from Capital Movers & Storage and Kelly’s Towing will be hosting their Easter Food Drive for us at five Kingston grocery stores the weekend of March 22-23, 2013.
Loyalist Scouts will be onsite handing out collection bags for non-perishables and accepting monetary donations as well on Friday March 22 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday March 23 from 9am-3pm.
Participating stores in the Kingston area: Food Basics @ Frontenac Mall, Food Basics @ Princess St. (next to the Best Western), Food Basics @ Princess St. at Barrie, Metro @ Bath Rd. at Gardiners and Metro @ Taylor-Kidd at Bayridge Drive.
Last year’s the Scouts efforts brought in over 5000lbs of groceries and $2365. Let’s help the Scouts collect even more this year!
