A message from our Executive Director... I say this all too often, but the summers do go by so quickly! From late July until late September some days we can look like a farmers’ market as our local gardeners, farmers, with our inmate gardens at Collins Bay and Joyceville institutions share their produce. It is wonderful to see.
The nice weather many of us have been waiting for has arrived. It is lovely to see new growth and the fresh green colours. Some are even starting to harvest their early garden produce. Thank you to those who have been donating their extras to us.
Thank you for supporting our 2023 Food Blitz. We collected 20,100 lbs of food and $30,878.
Our staff recently completed training centred around serving homeless people.

Feed Ontario's Recommendations for the 2023 Ontario Budget
In order to reduce poverty and address Ontario’s food insecurity and affordability issues, Feed Ontario has put forward the following for inclusion in the next provincial budget:
We have a new pickup location to better serve Kingston West!
Clients that may find it easier to pick up in the west end are now able to call us Wednesdays (one week in advance) to pick up at St. Paul's The Apostle Parish at 1111 Taylor Kidd Boulevard.
